You can select any of these graphics for your own machine by simply holding down the mousebutton with the pointer on the image. The pop-up menu allows you to save the graphic to a file on your machine. Enjoy! These are freebies from Netscape. Since they are public domain, I have put them here as a "mirror" site.
While you are waiting for the graphics to download, please make this note...if you alter the colors of text to display over an background image, such as these, you have to be sure to pick a text color that does not disappear over the background image (remember the silver font on the default silver background?).
Further note, that if the user's browser cannot render your graphic background, it may nevertheless use the font color you have selected for the page. Thus, even though you might choose one of these background images for a page, you should also set a BGcolor in the BODY tag that is close to the fundamental color of your intended image. That way, the user can see the text even if the background image does not render.
